Campaigns for People living with HIV-AIDS

In our social marketing campaigns we draw on the practises and learning of people with HIV. They reflect on issues and experiences such as living with HIV today, with its anxieties and challenges. These cover a range of experiences, from the stresses before getting tested for HIV, to dealing with a new diagnosis, and from changing approaches to sex and relationships to living long term. People with HIV share strategies on how they have approached these issues, developing skills and learning to make decisions which have worked for them.

SEX PIGS: Dark and dirty sex and managing your health

Positive Life NSW has produced this campaign based on stories and interviews so men who practise adventurous, or dark and dirty sex, have access to more information to manage their health. WARNING - content is unsuitable for people under 18 years.

Positive or Negative - HIV is in our lives

POSITIVE or NEGATIVE: HIV is in our lives looks at the learning practices gay men take on to manage risk, disclosure and the assumptions made about sero-status. This campaign offers strategies and practical tips on taking back control after a risk event, the subsequent testing for HIV and dealing with a positive diagnosis.

KNOW THE FACTS - SEX AND HEP C

Hep C is usually transmitted by sharing injecting equipment (including needles, spoons, tourniquets and filters) as well as tattooing or body piercing with infected equipment.
