7-2-9 is a monthly social support group for gay men living longer term with HIV. We meet to share and discuss our experiences of living with HIV, exchange information and develop friendships and social networks.
The group meets from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on the last Thursday of every month and alternates between Surry Hills and Newtown. We meet at the Albion Street Centre (building on the corner of Crown and Albion Streets, Surry Hills) and alternately at the Sanctuary Newtown (8 Mary Street, Newtown).
Come and share your thoughts, experiences and theories. Meetings are informal and friendly, safe and democratic. You can either drop-in occasionally or regularly. We usually discuss one issue each night with a break in the middle for some light refreshments and an opportunity to chat. Discussion topics are selected by the group prior to the meetings.
If you would like more information about the 7-2-9 group, please call Hédimo on (02) 9361 6011 for a confidential chat, or email hedimos@positivelife.org.au
