It's up to for our community, friends and social groups to reach out and make sure that our mates living with HIV don’t succumb to despair and the ‘Fuck It’ factor, says Lance Feeney.

Positive Life NSW (PLNSW) welcomes today’s changes which mean people living with HIV can access their HIV medication from local chemists and online pharmacies.

What is PrEP?

PrEP is a new HIV prevention method in which people who do not have HIV infection take a pill daily to reduce their risk of becoming HIV infected.

As of July 2015, the Enhanced Medication Access (EMA) scheme was phased out.

At least 1,000-1,100 people in NSW are unaware they are infected with HIV.  HIV testing week, 1-7 June is time to change that.
