People living with HIV and access to health care in NSW – A Community Survey 2015

PLHIV access to health care in NSW 2015In 2015 the NSW Ministry of Health asked Positive Life to explore the needs of people living with HIV (PLHIV) as they access specialist and mainstream health services in NSW. After running a community survey between February and March 2015, the report has been produced and provides the views of PLHIV.

The Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM) also asked us to include two questions to the survey. These questions asked repondents to 1) suggest locations for community dispensing of HIV medications, and 2) suggest locations for GPs to take up HIV prescribing.
